Many of us embarking on the Kundalini yoga path have been inspired at a Point to consider seriously to teach yoga full time, but have been advised by teachers and friends to consider the financial risk; or we feel what we do for a living is not fully in harmony with the consciousness we experience in Kundalini yoga, but it’s not clear what’s the way forward. With the economy not doing so well, we also see and hear many friends worry about jobs, money and future etc.. How can we live as a household yogi with prosperity and help others prosper?
Yogi Bhajan has taught us a lot about prosperity, and many of us have tried some of the kriyas and meditations. The most commonly tried one is probably the ”prosperity har”. People told me (Siri Adi) they (and I should) do this when we need money. I have done it twice with a need of money in mind. First time for 120 days, no Money 🙂 but I felt more stable. 2nd time for 40days, still no Money :-), I felt more open. Does prosperity means (mainly) money? or are we prosperous if we are serving others by teaching and don’t have sufficient money to sustain our own basic needs? What does prosperity mean to you?
With these kinds of questions in mind, we plan to establish a study project for prosperity. The project is open for all Kundalini yoga teachers, and we study together Yogi Bhajan’s teaching about prosperity, for example meeting regularly, sharing our experiences, reading lectures and discussing them, and teaching each other the kriyas & meditations for prosperity, practising them and sharing the experiences etc…
You are warmly welcome to join the project, and/or share your experiences/understanding of prosperity. Please contact us at siriadi(at)ymail.com or sukh.shabad(at)yahoo.com for more information or register to the project.
